Here are links to bits and pieces, sources of information etc. that I have used and happily recommend.
Bits and Pieces
AS Bikes - Coventry based company that makes really good aluminium framed folding bikes. Lots of good advice, such as 20” vs 16” wheels etc. Usually seen at the shows.
Bilbos - The manufacturers site. It has been improved lately but could still benefit from inclusion of 360° panoramic shots to give a clearer view of the internal layout.
Brodit SatNav Mounts - Huge range of fittings for most vehicles and SatNavs. Puts the Unit right where you can see it without hiding the instruments.
Cluster Repairs - Hope I don't need this company for the Bilbo. On a previous van the LCD readout for the trip indicator on the speedo head failed. This company repaired it for less than £70. Fiat wanted £600 for a new head plus fitting!
Connects2 - An Ipod adaptor to fit the T5. This fools the radio into thinking that the Ipod is actually a CD multi-changer and will play up to 5 playlists.
Its Time For Bed - Foam toppers. A most helpful website with lots of advice on which thickness and density is correct for you. A good quality product that's a lot cheaper than Ra***lf or J***ic
Marcleleisure - Handbrake lowering kit for the T5. This allows the driver’s seat to swivel without the need to release the handbrake.
Powerbulbs - Legal headlamp bulbs with a brighter beam.
SW Campers - Interior screen insulation mats to fit the rear and side windows of the T5.
Sources of Information
Archies Camping - If you buy the ACSI Card from Vicarious you can stay at reduced fees in off peak times. This website has the POIs available for a wide range of SatNavs
CampinCar Infos - A french site that has a huge list of Aires, both overnight stops and service points. TomTom POI's available too
Motorhome List - Join this list and open up a treasure trove of information about all things motor caravanning - including Double Skillets!
Vicarious Books - Excellent source of campsite guide books, particularly ones covering ‘Aires’ on the continent.
VW T5 Campers - Interesting Bilbos owner site with lots of information about using a T5 based Celex. Useful tips on some of the more 'quirky' aspects to owning a Bilbos.
